The Rosie Project

Working in a bookstore is actually pretty awesome sometimes. Like finding out what the top books of the year, and getting a discount to help with my book buying obsession.
One book that critics have been raving about this year is Graeme Simsion’s debut novel, The Rosie Project. I was intrigued by the cover (yes, I do judge my books by their covers), and when I read that the main character reminded one reviewer of Sheldon Cooper from The Big Bang Theory, I was sold. This book has definitely made into my top ten, and definitely my top five of 2013. It was one those books, where I felt better after reading it, one that lifted my spirits and just made me happy to be alive. I have recommended this to every customer that wants something new to read, and everyone that I have talked to that has read it, loves it just as much as I do. This is a gem.
