March Playlist

marchplaylistThis month when it comes to music, it’s been all about those songs that wake me up, the ones I sing in the shower, the ones that motivate me to clean. For the most part, I’ve been listening to a lot of old favourites, like Elvis Presley’s “Suspicious Minds” and Death Cab’s “Marching Bands of Manhanttan”, but there have been some new favourites like Brandon Flowers’ “Can’t Deny My Love” (see how he wrote that song here). There are songs on this list that were in my head for days after watching a favourite episode, like Boys II Men’s “End of the Road”, which Summer and Seth both listen in “The Rainy Day Women” on The O.C. (I know it’s such a sad song, but I can’t stop!)
I love that every day, every week, every month my music tastes can change for what I need. There will always be a song ready for me, to share my joys, fears and triumphs. Music speaks to me like no other can.

What’s on your list this month? What new music discoveries have you made?
