BBQ and Mustard Chicken

bbqandmustardchickenI’ve been trying really hard lately to make dinner at home. I really do love to cook, but sometimes my motivation to clean can be pretty low it’s because I’m short on time or the kitchen isn’t clean. On those days when I don’t want to put too much effort into dinner, but want something good and tasty, I almost always cook up a variation of this delicious BBQ chicken.FullSizeRender (3)Start by preheating your oven to 350° F. Take your oven safe dish (Corningware is always my go-to) and pour a tiny bit of olive oil in it just to coat it.
After placing your chicken breasts in (if they are really thick, just slice them lengthwise so that they cook evenly. Pour a bit of your favourite barbecue sauce (I’m a KC Masterpiece girl through and through) and honey dijon mustard (President’s Choice makes my favourite) on each side and spread it all over. I love adding this to some rice (the other night we had it with left0ver fried rice from take-out) and some greens, whether it be salad, steamed broccoli or roasted asparagus.
FullSizeRender (5)I love that you can just put this in the oven and forget about it, and it ends up tasting delicious and like you spent more than five minutes preparing it.

Let me know if you try this out! What is your favourite easy-no-fuss meal?
