Sephora VIB Wish List | November 2015

Yesterday, I finally received my e-mail informing me about Sephora’s semi-annual sale. From November 6-9 (Friday to Monday) if you are a VIB Rouge member, and from November 13-16 if you are a VIB member, you can get 20% off your purchase in-store or online. I haven’t shopped at Sephora since September (which is a long time for me), since I knew this sale was coming up and I wanted to save my pennies. For the last week or so, I’ve been trying to decide what to get, and my online cart has been getting fuller as the days go by. While I definitely won’t buy all of this (unless I can find that money tree before Friday), I thought I’d share what’s currently on my wish list.

While we are in the middle of fall, and winter and holidays coming up, I have reached for red lipstick more and more. I have wanted to try one of the Bite Beauty lipsticks for a while, and I feel like a cherry red would be perfect, since I can really wear it any time of the year. And speaking of lips, with the colder months upon us, I definitely need some extra hydration for my lips. Everyone talks about the Agave Lip Mask (also from Bite) and how good it is, so that is definitely on my list.

Bobbi Brown has so many beautiful products out right now, but I have definitely been eyeing all the beautiful eyeshadow palettes. I’m still trying to decide between the Greige Eye Palette and the Rich Caramel Eye Palette. If I could, I would probably fill my entire basket with everything that Bobbi Brown has ever done. She is the queen of beauty in my mind.

Since this is one of the only times of the year that I can save some money at Sephora, I like to pick a few items that I wouldn’t normally buy at full price. One of those is the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette. I love soft, finely milled powders, and subtle highlight. Plus, Hourglass always has the sleekest, classiest packaging. I would also love to add another fragrance to my collection. For years, I have wanted to like a Marc Jacobs Daisy perfume, but none of them have really impressed me until I found Daisy Dream. I know it’s more of a spring fragrance, but I would wear this fresh fragrance any time.

I recently hit pan (and am now about 1/3 of the way through) my favourite bronzer, so I am in need of a new one. While I might just repurchase it, I’m thinking of trying something new. I have heard great things about Make Up For Ever’s Pro Bronze Fusion, so I will definitely be considering that one, or the Milk Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer from Too Faced (which has been on my list for the majority of this year).

I’m pretty happy with the hair products I’m using at the moment, but I am definitely intrigued by the new Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo from Living Proof. I know that I will likely increase my dry shampoo usage in the next few months, and love the idea of this one. I’ve heard great things about how it is supposed to make your hair cleaner rather than just soaking up the oil, which I would love to test.

I would also love to add another great blush to my collection as well, since I only recently started wearing (and loving) it. I love the formulation of the Clinique Cheek Pop Blushes, but am considering another of the Tarte Amazonian 12-Hour Clay Blushes. And finally, I’ll need something to keep everything in, and Breakups to Makeup have added two new holiday makeup bags to their Sephora collection. The one that I love has been in and out of stock a lot over the last week, but I would also be happy with this one too.

Are you planning on doing some shopping at Sephora for the VIB sale? What’s on your wish list? Would you like to see a post of recommendations?
