Coat // Lipgloss

Happy Saturday! I’ve had a short break from classes this week, which is always a welcome treat. Though I probably should have filled my week with cleaning and studying, I’ve been binge watching old episodes of New Girl, excited for January to come so we can see new episodes (though I’m not as thrilled as everyone else about Megan Fox joining the cast). We’ve had a bit of snow here and there, but it’s still not sticking around too long, so I’m not going to complain (though I probably just jinxed that). I bought a new coat last week, so going out is more exciting than it used to be (just as long as it stays above 0°).

On Sunday night, Christopher and I got to meet our newest nephew, my brother and sister-in-law’s baby. Michael is twelve days younger than our niece Isabelle. He is quite the poser and makes the best faces. I can’t wait to watch him grow up. The other day I got to spend an afternoon with both babies, enjoying some good snuggles and inhaling their beautiful newborn baby smell. I am one happy auntie.

And now for my favourite links, something to lift you up if your heart is also feeling heavy today after yesterday’s events:

Josh Radnor (of How I Met Your Mother) talks about dealing with fame (and reminds me why I like him so much better than his character, Ted).

Tonight Show Hashtags #StopItDad

Details of the new Tartelette in Bloom palette and the Urban Decay and Gwen Stefani collaboration palette

The Most Excited People Ever

The new trailer for Finding Dory (which is coming out my birthday weekend. Thank you, Pixar).

Do you have plans this weekend? I have a date with some books and my vacuum cleaner.
