Sephora VIB Sale Haul | November 2015

sephoravibrougesalehaulIf you follow me on Instagram, then you know that I did my shopping at Sephora for the VIB sale quite a while ago (well, just over a week ago), but I haven’t shared my haul yet because I was waiting for a few things that I ordered online afterwards to come in. While I didn’t get everything that I wanted to, I did get my fair share of products to keep me happy for a while.

sephoravibrougehaul-novemberLet’s start first with the items that I have tried in the past, and wanted a new colour, or ones replacing (nearly) empties. I’ve talked about my love for the Tarte Amazonian Clay Blushes before, so you’re probably not surprised that I wanted another shade. I still don’t wear blush daily, but I wanted another cool-toned blush (I already own Dollface) that is wearable and not scary. I chose the shade Flush, a slightly berry-toned pink and I’m excited to start using it. I also bought another NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer (in Terre Neuve), since I am nearly finished my current tube. I thought about trying another tinted moisturizer (the Laura Mercier Oil-Free Tinted Moisturizer is still on my list), but decided to stick with NARS since I have really enjoyed using it again, and wanted to stick with something I know I already love.

Now for the new stuff. Since I have been having a bit of a moment with Living Proof right now, so of course I bought their new Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo. This dry shampoo claims to actually clean your hair rather than just soak up the oil, which sounds perfect to me, since I don’t always love washing my hair, but want it to look like I did. I have tried it twice so far, but don’t have a solid opinion on it yet, so be sure to keep an eye out for that review coming soon. I also picked up a Bite Beauty Luminous Crème Lipstick in Pomegranate. I love red lipstick at this time of year (and all times of the year), so I thought it was the perfect shade for a higher-end lipstick. I love the perfect red shade, and plan to wear it a lot with Christmas coming up soon. Speaking of high-end, I also bought the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette. I have been hearing how good these face powders are for such a long time, that I decided it was good time to get one for myself. So far, I have not been disappointed. I love the soft highlight they give me that is never too frosty or flashy (which is perfect for me). Lastly, I might not have needed a new makeup bag, but this holiday themed one from Breakups to Makeup was too cute to pass up. The Sound of Music is one of my favourite movies (though I’ve never understood the Christmas connection), so I appreciated the play on words, and love the rose gold accents, plus it holds a lot of makeup, so I don’t have to carry more than one bag of makeup.

Have you tried any of these products? What did you pick up at the VIB sales?
