First off, apologies for the lack of posting lately. I have completely underestimated how much this new job would affect my daily routine. I’m still working on figuring out how best to manage my time with my new responsibilities, but hopefully I can get a handle on it soon. Now to the task at hand. I’ve been putting a lot of thought into how to do a capsule wardrobe that will work best for me. I feel like I’ve really honed in on what my style is, and what I want it to be. Though I do have a pretty full closet right now with some good basics, there are a few things that I would love to add in the coming months.
I’m all about button-up shirts and blouses, because they are great for casual days, date nights, and church too. I have some great basics right now, but I would definitely love to add more patterns in lighter fabrics, like this shirt or this top. Looking through my closet, I’ve realized that I own a lot of black, white, grey and navy. I need to inject a little colour, so something like this lightweight sweater would be perfect for transitioning into spring. As far as basics go, a new pair of flats, a white tee, some distressed denim and a classic trench would fill some holes in my current wardrobe. Lastly, I am still on the hunt for the perfect floral dress (like this one, this one or this one) which would also serve as a possible dress for my convocation in June.
What will you be adding to your wardrobe this spring?
