Living Proof Restore Perfecting Spray

Since going blonde back in the fall, my hair has certainly had its ups and downs in terms of looking and feeling as healthy as it used to. I’ve been using a lot of the styling products that I already know and love, but have also been searching for new ones to help beef up my current arsenal of products.

After receiving and trying a sample of Living Proof’s newest addition to their Restore line, the Perfecting Spray, I knew that I would need the full-size ASAP and was ready to purchase it almost immediately. I was lucky enough to receive the full-size a few weeks later, and have been able to get a real sense in how it works on my hair.

The Restore Perfecting Spray is a silicone-free leave-in conditioning and detangling treatment that adds hydration without the weight. Made for all hair types (including those that are chemically and colour treated), it promises to provide strength, natural shine, smoothness, time-released conditioning, natural body, detangling and offers UV and heat protection. To test out these claims, I’ve used it exclusively, as well as with my other styling favourites (like this oil). I noticed immediately how well it works to detangle my hair and leave it feeling soft and smooth. Over time though, my hair has felt stronger, more nourished and the overall condition has improved a lot. I’ve noticed that my hair feels softer for a longer period of time too, so maybe there really is some time-released conditioning (though I’m still a little unsure of how to really measure that claim). My hair has also stayed more voluminous, and there’s been a reduction in the amount of frizz that I have, even when I heat style (which can sometimes aggravate it).

If you have fine hair like me, have extremely tangly hair, need some heat protection, or just want something to make your hair feel smoother, stronger and more manageable, then you need the Restore Perfecting Spray in your life.

Have you tried the Restore Perfecting Spray? What’s your go-to leave-in treatment or detangling spray?
