One thing that I have been a little bit obsessed with this summer, is finding a good brand of nail polish. In the past, I would just try to find the cheapest one, and be happy with that. But, I have learned that that might not always work for me. I already knew that I loved brands like Essie (who doesn’t?) and OPI, but this month, I discovered a new favourite. Coco & Lulu by Cake.
Indigo started carrying the new brand exclusively, and since I work at Chapters, I get a good discount (there are some benefits to working retail). The fall colours are amazing, and it is a “3 Free” polish (free of dibutyl phthalate, toluene, and formaldehyde — nasty chemicals), which is great.
This week, I decided to go with Macaron, a lovely pastel pink and Champagne, a fun gold glitter polish. Though I am in love with the darker shades, with it still being summer, I decided to keep it light.
