When I found out that Bumble and bumble was releasing a new surf spray, I knew I needed to get my hands on it. Luckily I was able to get it a little earlier than it’s release date (it came out officially on March 27th), so I’ve had a few weeks to try it out.
This surf spray is different from the original because it contains oils which are meant to give you soft, touchable waves. If you have tried Bb’s Surf Spray before and have been left with dry crunchy hair, this will definitely solve that problem. When I use Surf Infusion, I don’t have to add extra products to soften my hair. What I love about this spray (besides that heavenly smell) is that I can really load it on and it doesn’t leave my hair crunchy at all.
Surf Infusion is also very versatile. Not only can I use it to give me curls (if I dry my hair with a diffuser attachment), tousled waves (if I just blow dry it or air dry) or textured beachy straight hair (when I blow dry with a flat brush).
The only problem I have with this product is the price. For $35 you get 100 mL, which is $5 more than the original, and I will definitely use this product up faster. In the next few months I plan to look into the drugstore surf spray options so I’ll be able to compare.
Are you a fan of surf sprays? How do you use them to style your hair? Have you noticed a difference between Bb Surf Spray and Surf Infusion?
