Another great week over here. Yesterday was my birthday, so Christopher took the day off work and we had a nice day together. We went to IKEA for breakfast, and a quick browse then we saw Inside Out. It was really good! Funny, charming, and very deep and I definitely cried. The movie was followed with some shopping, because Chris said he thought I could pick out my present. He was a really good sport and didn’t complain (which he said was an extra present for me). I’m still having a hard time thinking about being 26 (I talked about my younger state of mind a bit yesterday), but I have a year to get used to it, right? Christopher also humoured me and we watched one of my favourite movies, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off with me (my birthday tradition) and didn’t even say anything when I quoted the majority of it (he usually hates it when I talk during movies).
Tonight, Christopher has planned a BBQ and our families are coming over to celebrate and eat some good food and enjoy some cake. Hopefully the rain stays away! Sunday will be filled with church and more family time celebrating our dads and the men in our life who have helped to shape us.
And here are my favourite links from the week:
The Honest Company announced that they will be launching a beauty line this fall.
10 Shoes Every Woman Should Own.
A Princess Diaries 3 might be in the works (now excuse me while I go watch 1 and 2).
The beautiful and talented Cara Brook (from Maskcara) has a new collection with Ruby Claire Boutique.
True Confessions, Alan Rickman with Helium, embarrassing ‘romantic’ texts and 5-Second Summaries from The Tonight Show.
What have you been loving this week? Anything exciting going on this weekend? I hope you have a lovely weekend!
