In case you haven’t noticed by now, I have a bit of a nail polish obsession — more specifically an Essie obsession. I love the formula and the colours, and the fact that there is always something new. This summer, Essie has released two new collections for summer, the Summer 2015 collection and the Neons 2015. I have yet to pick up shades from the summer collection (but I’m sure I will in the next few months), but I did get a couple of shades from the neons the other day. From the six shades, I chose Vibrant Vibes and Groove Is in the Heart.
Vibrant Vibes is a bright neon green. I definitely don’t have anything else like this in my collection, as I’m not one to do green very often, but I do love it for a fun pop of colour on the toes. It is opaque after three thin (or two thicker) coats, so if you’re not a fan of taking extra time painting your nails, this shade may not be for you. However, if you enjoy bright, unique colours for summer, go get Vibrant Vibes for yourself.
Groove Is in the Heart is a bright, peachy pink shade. It’s like an amplified version of Fiji (which is one of my all-time favourites). Perfect for my nails this summer, this bright (but soft bright) pink goes is quite opaque after only two coats, which is lovely. I can definitely see myself getting a lot of use out of this one in the coming months.
