Can anyone else believe it’s the last day of June? I know I say that basically every month, but it seems extra crazy this time around. Before we get to the heat, the fireworks and the reunions let’s get to my favourites from the month of June.
Bath & Body Works, Watermelon Lemonade Candle. I got this candle for my birthday from my sister and the kids (thanks to Lottie for pointing at it and picking it out). From the moment I smelled it, I was in love. It smells amazing. Usually I’m not the biggest fan of watermelon scents, because I always think they’re too watered down, or too fake, but this one is delicious. I’m already half-way through it, so I have to limit my use so I don’t use it all up too soon. Even on days when I haven’t lit it, our home will smell like this when I get home. It’s the best.
Covergirl, The Super Sizer Mascara. I’ve been really loyal to my Lash Bloom most days, but when I want really black, really thick lashes, I turn to this guy. It claims to give 400% more volume, which may or may not be accurate, but it definitely makes my lashes bolder than anything else.
Essie, Play Date. I am in love with this gorgeous purple shade. It’s soft, and feminine, but still bright for summer. This is one of those shades that I just stare at once I put it on. If you want to see it in action, I am wearing it in this Instagram post.
Bobbi Brown, Sheer Lip Color in Hot Raspberry. This blue-pink is the perfect shade for days when I need a pick-me-up. It can be applied really sheer (as the name would suggest) by dabbing it on, or more opaque for the perfect punch of pink. I’m wearing it in this Instagram post. My Bobbi Brown obsession is officially real and I see no end in sight.
