This month, I’ve been on a bit of nostalgia kick when it comes to my music choices. I’ve been testing out Apple Music, and have been reminded of a lot of great songs from my youth. If you’re following me on Twitter, then you’ve probably seen a few of my tweets about my nostalgic moods, like that night I listened to Fall Out Boy songs and definitely remembered every word, even though I hadn’t listened to them properly for 8 or 9 years. Songs like “Stay” by Lisa Loeb and “Jude Law and Semester Abroad” by Brand New and “Everlong” by the Foo Fighters have also reminded me of years gone by. There have been newcomers though, like everything by Leon Bridges, but especially “Coming Home”. I’ve also been loving “From the Night” by Stars and “Springsteen” by Eric Church, which has been the perfect lazy day in the backyard kind of song.
