Finding the perfect pink nail polish can be difficult — especially when it comes to lighter shades. I have no problem finding a beautiful bright or dark pink, but lighter shades can be so tricky. They’re often too light or sheer so that they can be streaky or look chalky when you put on that extra coat to offset the streaking — it can be a real hassle. But now my days of searching for the perfect light pink nail polish are over — at least until I find the next one…
Last week I picked up Essie’s Muchi, Muchi (mostly because there was a special deal if I bought 2 shades) and was interested to see how it stacked up against my other favourites like Fiji. From the first coat, I was impressed by the creaminess of the formula. Though it did take three (very light) coats, the payoff is perfect. It’s not streaky or gloopy, and though it is brighter than Fiji, it’s still understated and simple (and a good alternative to the neon Groove is in the Heart). I’m currently sporting this beautiful shade on my toes, and imagine that it will be a favourite for the months to come.
Have you tried this shade? What is your perfect light pink polish?
