Easter may be weeks behind us now, but pastels are still having a bit of a moment, and will continue to as Spring continues. I’m finding that as I’ve been searching for new pieces for my wardrobe (I just need a few more things and then I can finally share my capsule wardrobe!), I’ve been drawn to softer shades. I find that it’s much easier for my pops of colours to be on the lighter side since I like to wear bright lipstick, and don’t like it to clash with my outfit.
Currently, I am dreaming of pretty things, like this fun skirt, or this dress (which I ordered a bit ago and check the mail every single day for its arrival), as well as pastel-hued shoes. I’m still not sure how I feel about the lace-up trend (though they do look good on other people), these light blue flats are so cute. If you’re like me, and unsure of the lace-up trend, these classic pumps in a similar shade are another great option. You can’t go wrong with a lovely mint cross-body, or a light scarf. And if you’re still unsure, and don’t want to invest in pastels right now, how about this nail polish in a soft pink (or this mini set of pastel polishes)?
