Happy August! Things have calmed down a little bit in terms of my schedule (it helps that almost everyone else I know is on vacation), so I can say that I will be making time to post more this month. Because I haven’t been trying many new products right now, or using the same thing over and over, I’m going to wait until the end of August to share beauty favourites. July was all about dresses and skirts — at least when I was out in public. Leggings and my husband’s shirts make up my at-home wardrobe. Looking at these pictures now, I’m realizing how much I’ve favoured black this month. I know, I know, it’s not very summery, but I love using black as a canvas and adding a pop of colour here and there, like bright lipstick, a coral skirt, or fuchsia pumps. I’ve also fallen back into love with accessories, like this necklace and bracelet, so expect to see more of that in August too.
