Style Inspiration | Spring 2017

Stripe top // Saddle bag // Dress // Sneakers // Skirt

I think more than any other season, spring makes me want to completely overhaul my wardrobe. I’m ready to stop wearing heavy coats, let my legs out and give socks a break (though if I’m being honest, I rarely wear socks unless it’s absolutely necessary).

This season I’m inspired by all of the trends, and while many of them aren’t new (I’m talking about you, florals), the light fabrics and colours are enough to get me excited about them. You know I love a good stripe, so of course I am happy that they’re going to be so big this season. I’m also all about the blues and pinks, and love the laser cut detailing on these shoes and the swiss dot details on this skirt. Though it’s not a surprise that I will likely be wearing all the stripes and blush this spring, I am surprised that I like the bell sleeves. I’m not a big fan of the huge bell sleeves, but I do like a bit of a fluted sleeve, and this white dress has it all with the added lace. And of course I can’t do a spring fashion post without adding a Kate Spade bag. I love the tri-colour of this saddle bag (and have my eye on this one too from Matt & Nat).

What trends are inspiring you this spring?
