September is finally here and I am thrilled! While I love lazy summer days, reading in the sun or at the pool, I feel at home when September rolls around. There’s just something special about September that makes it my favourite month of the year.

I’ve started re-reading the Harry Potter series and it’s making me miss the excitement of the beginning of the school year. Though September doesn’t mark the first day of school for me anymore (still odd to think that I never have to go back), there’s something about the crisp autumn air that means a new start. I’m ready to get back into a routine and add some order to my life again. Here’s to lists and goals and all the things that make September my “new year”.
