Purple Nails

If you've paying attention to my Instagram this summer, then you may already have noticed that I'm having a bit of a purple moment when it comes to my nails. I recently reorganized my stash and found that I actually have a lot of purple shades (they rival my pinks). From the lightest lilacs to plums to deep burgundy, I basically have it all. The Weekend Post | 08.01.15

Happy August! I can't believe July has come and gone and it's officially August today. I'm hoping to do a lot of fun things this month, and enjoying a lot of sunshine in the process. This weekend we are camping for a family reunion with my dad's side of the family. Most of my dad's family doesn't live in Calgary, so we don't get to see each other very much. The Matte Shadow Dream Team

The last few months, I have been loving matte shadows. I used to be all about the shimmer and glitter, but lately I have embraced the goodness that is a smooth and easily blended matte shadow. Most of my looks have been either completely matte or matte based with a touch of shimmer.
