Normally, I post my weekend posts on Saturdays, but it’s been a busy few days, and it’s still the weekend, so today it is. It’s been a hot one here (at least 30° the past few days), which has been lovely. I enjoyed some time with my sister and the kids at a wading pool (and definitely sat in the shade), and then yesterday my dad and I ran a race. Well, my dad ran and I kind of jogged and walked. I used to run a lot, but haven’t done anything in the last year. My dad started running earlier this year, and has been doing such a good job! I’m really proud of everything that he has done these past six months. The race was the least organized one I’ve ever been to, but I was happy to support the cause (SynapticHealth), and enjoyed seeing my dad in a completely new element. It’s weird, but also really awesome that I can’t keep up with him anymore.
