With new fall colours, and fall launches, I have found myself making a mental list of beauty bits I’d love to add to my collection in the next few months. These aren’t actually all new for fall, but I think that they would be a great addition any time, and a new season is a great excuse!
Earlier this year, Charlotte Tilbury was released in Canada. Finally! I haven’t made it to Holt Renfrew yet to check out the collection (which is probably a good thing), but I am sure I will soon. Though everything she does looks amazing, I definitely have my eye on the Eyes to Mesmerize Cream Eyeshadows. I’m still not sure if I want Marie Antoinette or Mona Lisa though. Perhaps both?
With smoky eyes and darker shadows becoming more of a regular thing this fall, I find I need to do more spot cleaning of my brushes in addition to the weekly (or bi-weekly) cleanse. My sister-in-law recommended the Bobbi Brown Brush Cleaning Spray, which sounds perfect. All you have to do is spray, wipe clean and you’re good to go.
My love for fragrance is growing, as is my wish list. Earlier this year, I got a sample of Lancôme’s La Vie Est Belle Eau de Parfum, and was completely in love from the first time I used it. I still have the sample and use it sparingly, because I don’t want to be without it. I definitely need to get a full size, or at least a rollerball so I can use it more. Also high on my list is RALPH by Ralph Lauren and Marc Jacobs Mod Noir.
This fall, I am definitely getting back into darker nail polish. I have a lot of neutrals, a lot of dark purples, and some good reds, but I don’t have many deep reds like this one from Julep. I’ve wanted to try Julep’s polishes for a while anyway, so this would be perfect. I also love the look of this one from Nails Inc.
Though I’ve spent the last few months trying to convince myself I don’t need the new Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette, I’m pretty sure it’s going to happen. I think this is their most diverse palette with neutrals, mattes, dark colours, satins, and a few shimmers too. I would also love to add the LORAC Pro Palette to my collection, or the Bobbi Brown Greige Eye Palette.
