Spring is one of my favourite times of year (it is an extremely close second to fall). I love the change in the weather, the lack of snow (or at least the lower likelihood of snow) and most of all, not having to wear a heavy coat. Also, I love an excuse to add new pieces to my closet.
I recently went through my whole wardrobe (closet, drawers and items packed away), and realized that one of the things that I was missing was spring skirts. I have two pink skirts that I wear constantly (if you follow me on Instagram, then you probably know exactly which ones I’m talking about), and while I love them, I’ve been feeling slightly uninspired in the clothing department, and needed something new and fresh.

Now enter this gorgeous skirt. I love the swiss dot detail, the light colour and of course the pockets. Also, it has an elastic waistband, so it was perfect for our Mother’s Day lunch and dinner with our families on Sunday. I’m always looking for clothes that can be worn for more than one occasion, throughout the seasons, and fit the bill of cute but comfy. This skirt fulfills everything.
I have a feeling (actually, no I know) you will be seeing this number a lot in the next few months. I’m looking forward to styling this for warm casual days and think it will go great with a graphic tee and my favourite pair of chucks.
